Hello,

I've setup PopGrabber to download emails and leave a copy on the server for 3 days. I had a mailbox that was configured incorrectly in exchange. How can get PopGrabber to redownload messages that are in the log (and still on the server) but not in the inbox. Is there a facility to do this or should I just delete the account and recreate it?

Thanks.

Hello,

Option 1: (For one account) Rename the server in your account (for example, use the IP address instead of the hostname, or use an equivalent hostname). PopGrabber will download all messages from this account again, because it will have no history records for this server.

Option 2: (For all accounts) You can delete the history file, and PopGrabber will download all the old messages (FROM ALL ACCOUNTS) again.

I ended up downloading to Outlook Express and then exporting to Outlook. For future reference where is the history file located? Also redownloading messages after searching the history logs would be a nice feature for future versions.

Thanks.

Sorry, we forgot to specify this: the history file is located in the installation directory, usually under C:\Program Files\Eclarsys.

The file is called MailHistory.db3.

We will consider your recommendations for a future update.
