Hi!

I just setup Popup Grabber Professional, and inadvertently put a username and password for the smtp server settings on the General Tab.  I am unable to clear those settings.  When I clear them and click ok, I go back to the main screen.  When I go back into settings, and click on the general tab, I still see the username and password filled.

How to I remove those settings?

thanks,

Riten

Hello,

there is a problem in the PopGrabber Console that causes this behaviour. We will correct it and update the installer as soon as possible.

In the meantime, you can delete the information directly in the registry by removing the following keys:

  • HKLM/Software/Eclarsys/PopGrabber Professional/Default SMTP Username
  • HKLM/Software/Eclarsys/PopGrabber Professional/Default SMTP Password

Hi,

PopGrabber Professional Version 1.0.3 is available in the customer download area.

This version solves this bug and has some additional features:

  • The number of downloaded messages per session can be limited
  • Improved Help File
  • Different postmaster email addresses can be defined for each SMTP server
  • History searches can be exported to a TAB delimited text file
  • Improved handling of malformed headers

Regards,
