Hi!

We have some problems with popgrabber together with sonicwall email security.
Everything works fine if I send the mails directly to the exchange (with popgrabber), but if I use the
sonicwall in between I get this log:

2009-01-21T13:32:57: Message 104 skipped (recipient rejected)
2009-01-21T13:32:57: Processing message 105
2009-01-21T13:32:58: SMTP Server rejected recipient xxx@domain.de: Server rejected recipient (xxx@domain.de): 501 5.1.8 Bad address syntax

I I use the same settings in visendo popconnect, the mails flow perfectly straight to the exchange...
pleas help me! I need to use the popgrabber as soon as possible.

Kind regards,
Urmel

Hello,

Does this happen will all emails or only with specific messages? Maybe you must add your local domain name to the Sonicwall configuration somewhere?

Do you have any log files or other information from Sonicwall?

Hi!

This happens to all messages. Local Domain is named in Sonicwall, nothing changes...
At the moment I have no further information from sonicwall, seems that sonicwall
rejects them without reporting somethin. In Sonicwall I'm only able to see spam report.

Can you tell us the exact Sonicwall Model/Version, maybe we can find something in their Knowledgebase regarding this. Other than that we can only think of a configuration problem in the Sonicwall filter rules.

Hi!

It's the SonicWALL Email Security-Modell 200, Firmware-Version 6.2.3.1219.
The SonicWall Filterrules should be okay, becuse with the same configuration ans "Vis**** Popcon" It's working fine!
I need Popgrabber working fine, only 7 Days left...

Regards

Hello,

can you tell us which PopGrabber version you are using? If you are not using the latest release from our website, please update it first.

I'm using popgrabber professional version 1.0.3.104 - I just purchased it and downloaded the newest version from what I can tell...

Thanks,
