Hi Gang,
I'm trying out the free version of POPGrabber on our Server 2008/Exchange 2007 Box.  Before we jump in with the professional version I need to resolve this 1 problem.
When trying to receive mail I get this error message:
Error connecting to SMTP Server (servername): Could not connect to server: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it local.ip.address:25

This is likely an exchange or server issue but I was wondering if anyone here has ever experienced this same problem...

Hello,

This error generally means that the SMTP server is not configured to accept connections from the PopGrabber machine (either because it is blocking the IP or because the SMTP server is not enabled on this port). Some good information regarding Exchange 2007 SMTP configuration can be found at:

http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2006/11/17/431555.aspx

To receive messages forwarded by PopGrabber, make sure that the SMTP connector allows anonymous connections to deliver emails to the local users.

For more information about the settings required for this look at this post: http://forum.eclarsys.com/index.php/topic,60.0.html

Let us know if this works for you.
