I have installed the free version of PopGrabber on SBS 2007. It is all working fine except for the logging window within the manager program. This doesn't update. However, if you exit the program and then fire it up again, the logging window has updated details. Is this still going to happen if I purchase the Pro version and is there any way to get this fixed? Hi,

please make sure that the NTFS "Last Access Time Stamp" is not deactivated. Set the NtfsDisableLastAccessUpdate value to "0", oposite of what is described here http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/xpehelp/html/xetskdisablinglastaccesstimestamps.asp.

The PopGrabber Manager refreshes the screen only if Windows notifies it that this logfile has been changed. The professional version uses the same method to update the logfile.

Thanks. The value for this item was indeed 1, so I changed it to 0 and rebooted. Sadly the log display is still not updating on the screen (although the logfile itself is fully up to date).

We will be updating the PopGrabber console to improve log updating and eliminate the requirement to modify this registry setting. We will post here as soon as the update is ready.

We have modified the PopGrabber Console for the Free PopGrabber Version. Please copy this file in the PopGrabber installation directory.

Make a backup of the original file just in case. This updated file will be included in the official Free and Standard release as soon as we make sure it does not break compatibility with something else.
