Hello,

I am running a Windows SBS2003 server with exchange.
The original setup using the MSpop3 connector service grabbed the email from my pop3 server and downloaded to the MSexchange server, and the outgoing email was sent to smtp.att.yahoo.com with my sbcglobal.net account. I used this one accout for all the mailbox users, but each user had a unique pop3 account.

On the settings page:

I put in for each user (right now, I'm really just setting up my own account to get it to work) using the same parameters as the MSpop3 connector. However, I noticed that on the smtp server, it doesn't ask for the password for the smtp server account.

Right now,
the grabber does not grab email from my pop3 server and send it to my inbox.

I'm also confused about the language used in the smtp setup part of the settings page. It asks me about 'destination email address'.  Should this be the login address at the smtp server (sbcglobal.net), or should the destination be my inbox account on the exchange server?

Please help. I'm not sure what parms I should be using.
Thanks
Don'

The free version of PopGrabber does not support authentication, however, you do not normally require this if you are forwarding the messages to local users, Exchange 2003 accepts emails for the local domains without authentication by default.

From the error message you describe, it seems that the POP3 password is wrong.

The destination email address is the email address of the Exchange user who should receive the messages retrieved from the specified POP3 account.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
