Cheers to the eclarsys team,
Ive downloaded your free edition of the PopGrabber Software (Eclarsys PopGrabber Free 1.0.7) and succesfully put in my external POP3 account to download my emails.
It just worked out fine. What confused me the most tho, was that nowhere in the dialog box was a field to put in the matching mailbox in my Exchange mail - system.

So where are my emails? If im trying to download them a second time, it says "no emails found" ... so they must be somewhere.
I probably have to set up some exchange features, i just downt know wether ill be able to find my external emails already in the system or not.

Maybe you can help...

We will probably buy the software once ive testet it sucessfully... maybe that helps

greetings Nego

Hello,

the emails are redirected to the email address specified under "Destination Email Address" (this is the matching mailbox). The hostname of your SMTP/Exchange server must be entered under "SMTP Server".

Check the screenshot below for a better explanation.

Hello there, i am not sure but i think i have a similar problem..I am using POPGrabber Pro on Exchange Ent. 2003

I would like to know if the is a way to get back a message that was downoaded by POPGrabber but not delivered to the client(Outlook). The messages were downloaded correctly because I could see them being downloaded with no errors thru POPGrabber console and they appear in Message History. Buy my clients didn't receive them. Are they sitting in the my Server somewhere or are they in Mailboxes.....

Feedback is much appreciated and
Thanks to Jorge from your Suppor Team for all his help earlier

Hello,

The ability to recover the emails depends on the PopGrabber configuration and to which server they were forwarded. PopGrabber will never delete a message if the SMTP server rejects it, however, if the SMTP server accepts the server and then does something else with it (like bounce it or forward it to another address), there is no way of recovering this message since PopGrabber does not create local copies of the downloaded emails (it only keeps an in-memory copy during the download cycle).

Please check your Exchange/SMTP Server's logfiles to track the message delivery, or contact your ISP if you are forwarding your messages to an external SMTP server.
