Have PopGrabber Free installed for client using Exchange 2003.  The three users have smartphones set to check their Exchange boxes via POP3 (two are Blackberries using Blackberry Internet Service [BIS] for getting e-mail forwarded to them, and one is Windows Mobile).  Since deploying PopGrabber, new e-mail arrives in Outlook as already having been "read;" i.e., new messages are not in bold.  BIS settings point to the Exchange server via POP.  Blackberry's web site says that BIS does not mess with read/unread status on POP accounts.

Can you help me out?

Hello,

PopGrabber also does not (and can not) modify the status of the messages. This is a specific Exchange/Outlook flag which cannot be affected during the SMTP communication with the server. Make sure you do not have any rules in your Mailboxes which could be causing this problem.
