I am using MDAEMON, which in itself has multi-pop capabilities, but the free version has this disabled. I purchased the pro-version of PopGrabber, to manage multiple pop servers, and multiple aliases to a couple of email accounts. MDAEMON will handle the aliases.

I can not get this to work at all.... emails coming directly to MDAEMON (SMTP) from outside work fine. It's only PopGrabber I am having trouble with.

Please help.

Hello,

It seems the PopGrabber configuration on the Server is different from the Test machine (SSL authentication?).

From the error message on your TEST server it seems the email address <xxxxxxxx@xxxxxxxxxx.com> is being rejected by MDAEMON. In this case, you can configure PopGrabber to skip the recipient, redirect the message to the postmaster or delete the message.

If you are trying to redirect the messages to a non-local address, you probably have to enable SMTP authentication.

Let us know if any of these ideas helped.

I have attached and immage of the config.  As you can see it is default.

However, I am not worried so much about the test machine. I am worried that I can not get the program to work on my server.

I downloaded the 30 day trial of PopBeamer, and it worked, with out error.

Do I need to uninstall and reinstall PopGrabber?

Hello,

We will install MDAEMON on a Test machine and get back to you as soon as possible. We can not reproduce this problem with our Test machine with Microsoft Exchange.

This is the free version, MDAEMON 10.0

My OS is Win2K3.. I have rights to use exchange 2007, but I believe it's a bit overkill.

I have considered installing MD on another computer as well.

There was a bug in our mail library which caused this problem under certain circumstances (when PopGrabber and the SMTP server are installed in the same machine, and the SMTP server has a certain delay sending responses to the SMTP client).

We have updated our email library and sent you the updated DLL. Our PopGrabber Professional installer has been updated to version 1.0.2.
