We checked out the Sophos website and found that to filter SMTP traffic, Sophos uses the "MailMonitor for SMTP" component.
If you are using Exchange, there is a "PureMessage for Microsoft Exchange" module. Please note the configuration changes for POP3 Connectors described here:
