I am running MS 2k8 64-bit, SP1 with Exchange 2007. Everything is working however the log that displays on screen (e.g., post selecting "get messages) does not show status until you press "stop services".  Is this something you could update for your next version?

Could you tell us the PopGrabber version you are using? The PopGrabber Free and Standard releases have changed for 64 bit systems in the latest versions, in case you are not running PopGrabber Free or Standard 1.0.9, or PopGrabber Professional 1.0.5, upgrade to the latest versions and try again.

New problem:

It appears the application won't pull down email unless the management window is open; in other words, if the management application is closed and the service is running, the application won't pull down email.  Thus, for the mean time I have to leave the app management console open.

I am running Windows 2008 Standard with SP2.

Hello,

the only scenario where this would make sense is if the automatic download is deactivated and you download manually using the Console. The service is independent of the Console and no communication between the two occurs except to trigger a manual download or to transfer the settings.

Please verify the value for the automatic download interval. If the problem persists please contact our support by email directly.

I am having the same problem with v1.09, Server 2008 SP1 and Exchange 2010.  Emails dont download unless I have the window open.  Any ideas?

You can close the administration console and check if the PopGrabber service stops running or if an error is logged in the windows application event log, but normally this behavior points to a problem with the download interval setting.

Please check the download interval in the program settings and restart the service after any changes just in case.
